In December 2005 Ricoh/IBM introduced the InfoPrint Color 1534 Express color printer for small and medium-size workgroups in Australia/New Zealand and Asia. The InfoPrint Color 1634 Express was launched worldwide as a replacement for the 1534 in November 2006, and in February 2007 the InfoPrint Color 1614 Express was launched worldwide. All were based on the Lexmark^® C530 family print engine.

Print speeds in both monochrome and color were OEM rated at 20 pages per minute (ppm) for the 1534, and 24 ppm for monochrome and 22 ppm for color for both the 1634 and 1614. Duty cycles of 65,000 pages per month were stated for the 1534 and 1614, while the 1634 had a 100,000 pages per month rating.

The supplies set for each model is made up of four individual toner cartridges and one drum unit. Cartridge SKUs are color and yield-specific, with all replacement components being interchangeable with the exception of the chip. Only the chip and toner fill weights differ.
